Colo4 is committed to contributing to the communities where we live and do business. We support a variety of our employee's favorite charitable organizations through donations and sponsorships of fundraising events, and we encourage our employees to be active in their communities. As a company, we regularly participate together in civic and charitable endeavors including:
Susan G. Komen for the Cure®
Colo4 is a proud supporter of Susan G. Komen for the Cure®. A global leader in the breast cancer movement, Komen was founded in 1982 to help save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all, and energize science to find a cure. Since 2010, Colo4 has donated data center space, power, premium network bandwidth, and backup services to the organization to ensure IT infrastructure security and performance.
Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
In 2010, a team from Colo4 gathered to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society by participating in the Big D Climb—a 52 flight stairclimb (1040 steps) up one of Dallas' most recognized landmarks, Fountain Place. 630 participants took part in the 2nd annual event on January 30th, and the Colo4 team came raised $12,078.00 in pledges—more funds than any other team. Funds raised support the charity's mission to find a cure for blood cancers and improve the quality of life of leukemia and lymphoma patients and their families. On March 9th, representatives from the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society presented Colo4 with a plaque to recognize the team as the top fundraisers for the event.
