DALLAS, Texas (November 8, 2007) – Colo4Dallas, a leading colocation service provider, was named a winner of the Dallas 100™ Award by the Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship at the SMU Cox School of Business. The award was presented during a celebration and ceremony at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center on Wednesday, November 7, 2007. The Dallas 100 Award is an annual event that identifies and honors the 100 fastest growing privately held companies in the Dallas area.
"We're honored to be recognized as a Dallas 100 winner and very proud to be included among a group of growing and distinguished Metroplex companies," said Paul VanMeter, president and chief technology officer of Colo4Dallas. "We owe much of this prestigious recognition to the dedication of our employees as well as the enthusiastic support of our loyal customers." Colo4Dallas' customer base includes Web hosting providers, gaming companies, voice over IP and enterprise customers. The company’s robust growth prompted a recent expansion of its data center, which now includes over 68,000 square feet of secure, climate-controlled space.
To qualify for the Dallas 100, a business must be an independent, privately held corporation with headquarters in the Dallas Metroplex. Winners must demonstrate a 3-year sales history that reflects year-over-year growth and have credit reports and character satisfactory to the Dallas 100 selection committee.
