Our premium network, optimized for performance and reliability, directly connects you to three Tier 1 providers: Level 3, TW Telecom, and Internap. Unlike other providers that optimize to the lowest-cost route, Colo4 ensures maximum speed and reliability for your data and in a true carrier-neutral setting.
Premium Network
The Colo4 premium network offers the redundancy of BGP enhanced by our Internap 5200 flow control platform (FCP). This multicarrier intelligent routing appliance identifies the absolute fastest route across Internet backbones, improving performance 15 to 25 percent. In addition, we use 10 gigabit ethernet connections from all providers, minimizing congestion. The fully redundant Cisco architecture uses Layer 3 6509 switches.
Value Network
The Colo4 value network offers a cost-effective bandwidth option with the performance and reliability of dual feeds from Cogent and Level (3) and the redundancy of BGP routing and Layer 3 6509 switches.
On-Net Providers
Take advantage of direct connections to 10 different providers with dual fiber entrances in our carrier-neutral environment: Level (3) Communications, AT&T, TW Telecom, XO Communications, Qwest, Cogent, Reliance Globalcom, AboveNet, Alpheus and FiberLight. You can also cross-connect to over 300 global networks, carriers and ISPs with Colo4Connect, our robust DWDM metro transport solution that gives you the ability to reach one of the world's largest content delivery networks, the world's financial trading networks, and a vast array of providers.
